Support Worker

I have experience in working in a few different career paths but have worked solely within the Health and Social Care sector since November 2010. I started working with Cumbria Quality Care in January 2023.

I am committed to providing the best quality of care and support to the people within my care. I worked for 11.5 years as a Live In Carer and 6 months as Healthcare Support Practitioner in Scotland before moving to work for CQC in the Carlisle area. I have experience in caring for clients with complex needs including Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Autism, Mental Health, Depression, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinsons, IDIC 15, Epilepsy, Stroke Recovery, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Asthma, COPD, Hydrocephalus/Shunts, Heart conditions, Dementia, Alzheimers, Cancer Care and End of Life, Mitrofanoff Catheterisation, PEG Feeding to name a few.

It has been a privilege to become part of a team that work together for the benefit of the people within their care. They treat everyone with respect and dignity, service users and staff alike. They are committed to the quality of the care that is provided and to providing this with compassion and believing that everybody counts and has a right to receive the best care available.
