Reflecting on 2021

As the year nears its end it’s always a time to reflect. We are always extremely proud of the dedication, care and hard work our staff team do, but the last two years have been extraordinary to say the least.

Yet again, our team have risen to the challenge and they have stood strong. They have supported our vulnerable community members every day, worked through the worst staffing crisis we have ever experienced, the worst pandemic of their lifetime and at times, the worst staff sickness levels we have ever seen. We are in awe of the hours and hours of dedicated hard work the whole team have carried out. Many times at the cost of seeing their own families and rest time.

It takes a special person to work in care and it’s that desire to care and put others needs first that have got us through these crazy past two years.

The community has also pulled together and supported us to support others. We really do live within an amazing community. As we look back over the year, we are truly thankful for everyone of you and we are proud to be a part of it. We stay strong together.
