My original career choice was in sports and leisure and I spent many years within a variety of roles before becoming a manager of a sports centre and then a gym. However in 2008 I began a new role as a support worker working with children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties and soon found I could combine both my love of sport and support within this role.

In 2012 when my wife Sharon wanted to open her own business – Cumbria Quality Care – we joined forces and set it up together. We both bring different skillsets and experience which work together very well. We also both have the same strong core beliefs and ethos about how support should be delivered and what standards we set.

During the last 10 years we have grown and developed as a business whilst ensuring our standards and ethos remain the same.
