Advanced Support Worker
I have been with CQC for 2 yrs as a Support Worker. My role involves maintaining the security and safety of service users and colleagues. I work as a team to drive improvements in service quality.
I hold a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and have 20 yrs of combined experience working in hospitals, emergency clinics, care homes, nursing homes, learning disability care homes, and now I am working with young adults with complex learning disabilities . My skills include strong communication by listening verbal or non- verbal, resilience, empathy, compassion and a high level of patience.
The most rewarding aspect is knowing my work directly contributes to the progress of the service user particularly when it comes to communicating the words she has learned.
When not working. I enjoy to unwind and I find relaxation in walking and taking long drives to various towns and cities.
