Care Manager

I joined Cumbria Quality Care in September 2022. Prior to this I worked in home care and a mental health hospital.

I started my career at Cumbria Quality Care supporting young people. I always knew my passion was in helping people, and becoming a support worker with Cumbria Quality Care helped me to achieve this. I worked closely with young people and worked with them to provide the best care possible, and with a great staff team we all work together on new ideas and ways to help support the young people in our care.

Cumbria Quality Care has also provided me with amazing opportunities, I have attended Train the Trainer courses and now help with providing training to new staff members, something that I really enjoy doing! And now I have been promoted to Care Manager in June and I have been really enjoying it!

I love my role at Cumbria Quality Care and I am so glad to be surrounded by supportive people who are passionate about providing person-centred care and building relationships with the service users in our care.
