Advanced Support Worker

I began working for Cumbria Quality Care in March 2024 initially in the Day Centre, during this I completed my Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care. I am now working towards completing the Level 3 Diploma. I am now an Advanced Support Worker who works with young adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Whilst at Cumbria Quality Care I have completed a vast number of training courses which have provided me with great knowledge, skills and understanding.

In 2025 I completed the train the trainer qualification on Attachment and Trauma Informed Behaviour Support and am now part of the team that delivers this training to all of Cumbria Quality Cares team. I have really enjoyed delivering training and am currently completing train the trainer qualifications in First Aid, Medication and Manual Handling to enable me to play a bigger part within the in house trainers team that delivers training to the whole staff team.

What I love most about my job is making a difference to peoples lives and supporting them to achieve their own personal goals.

In my spare time I love to travel, draw and paint and socialising.
