Advanced Support Worker

I have worked for Cumbria Quality Care supporting children and young adults for almost 4 years. My job role is an Advanced Support Worker.

I have completed the level 2 and 3 diploma in Health and Social Care. I have worked within care homes and worked with various individual’s with Learning Disabilities for almost 12 years, including completing placements while in college completing the Health and Social Care Diplomas.

I love helping the individual’s I support by helping make a difference to their lives and watching them grow as individual’s. I also enjoy completing new training, learning through Cumbria Quality Cares mentorship and have really enjoyed learning how to communicate using Makaton.

When I am not working, I enjoy taking my dogs on long walks and travelling new places.
