Cumbria Quality Care Charity quiz night was a huge success!!

Cumbria Quality Care held a charity night on Friday the 18th of October 2024.

The charity night was held to raise funds for the wonderful charity Cumbria Deaf Association and we were able to raise £728.36 on the night.

The quiz was held at Penrith Conservative Club and our very own Annie Metcalfe, Training and Recruitment Manager, was a fantastic Quiz Master on the night.

We were overwhelmed by local companies who were very generous in providing a variety of raffles prizes. As well as local companies providing raffle prizes, Sarah Brownrigg and Michelle Woof, local residents, very kindly donated raffle prizes too. We can’t thank you enough and it really does demonstrate what a wonderful community we live in.

We were delighted to see so many people show their support and attend, contributing to it being a fantastic night.

The event was arranged alongside the charity sky dive Cumbria Quality Care Managers Sharon, Annie, Chloe and Hazel are doing on Saturday the 26th of October, 2024. We hope to raise as much awareness and funds possible for Cumbria Deaf Association, a charity that is close to our hearts.

The Leo Group, who is dedicated to supporting charitable initiatives within the communities they operate in, have very kindly agreed to pledge the funds they raise on their annual charity event to our fundraising initiative, as well as this they have agreed to match whatever funds they raise!!! We are extremely grateful for their generosity.
