Exciting news!

We operate a day service on a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday predominantly for older adults and the elderly. On a Tuesday and Thursday some of our young adults that we support have been accessing the facility along with their staff. This has proven to be very successful and the individuals have really enjoyed their time in our service. This hasn’t been as a formal day service and has been more of an opportunity to let them access facilities at their leisure, however we have decided to open this up to others as a formal arrangement for day services.

At this stage we are taking notes of interest to see if this is a service individuals would be interested in and that there is a need for it. If there is enough interest, we will open it. It will be a Tuesday and a Thursday 9.30am to 3.30pm and staffed accordingly to service user needs. A hot two course meal will be provided. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide transport.

Our service has an array of activities available, for example, board games, arts and crafts, bingo, light exercise which is adapted to individual needs, cooking and baking, independent living skills, pet therapy, visits from musicians, masseurs, local groups such as Girl Guides, Scouts, friendship, woodwork and much more.
