Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

This training develops our staff’s knowledge and understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion, ensuring these principles are embedded in the care and support they provide.

Staff learn about relevant legislation, including the Equality Act 2010, their responsibilities under professional codes of conduct, and the importance of promoting equality, respecting diversity and ensuring inclusion in everyday practice.

The training also focuses on recognising and challenging discrimination, respecting individual rights, beliefs and choices, and understanding the importance of providing fair, inclusive and person-centred support.

Through this training, we ensure our staff have the knowledge, confidence and skills to create a positive and inclusive environment where everyone we support feels valued, respected and empowered to make their own choices, while promoting dignity, independence and equal opportunities.
