Fire Safety Awareness

This training develops our staff’s knowledge and understanding of fire safety, ensuring they are equipped to recognise potential fire hazards, reduce risks and respond appropriately in the event of a fire.

Fire safety is an essential part of providing safe and effective care, when supporting individuals in their own homes.

The training covers key fire safety legislation, fire prevention, identifying and managing risks, emergency evacuation procedures and the importance of protecting individuals who may require additional support in an emergency.

Through this training, we ensure our staff understand their responsibilities, follow safe working practices and have the confidence to respond effectively to fire-related emergencies, prioritising the safety and wellbeing of everyone we support.
