Health and Safety Awareness

This training develops our staff’s knowledge and understanding of health and safety, ensuring they can recognise potential hazards, manage risks and maintain a safe environment when supporting individuals in their own homes.

The training covers essential health and safety legislation, workplace responsibilities, risk assessments, accident and incident reporting, hazard identification and safe working practices.

Staff also learn the importance of following policies and procedures, taking appropriate action to prevent accidents and injuries, and understanding their individual responsibilities in maintaining a safe working environment.

Through this training, we ensure our staff have the knowledge, confidence and skills to promote a positive health and safety culture, protect themselves and others from harm, and deliver safe, effective and high-quality person-centred support.
